A.
Lessons run at a fixed day and time. You settle on your weekly slot when you enrol and take every lesson in that slot.

A.

Yes. If you let us know, you can reschedule up to four lessons a month. Of those, at most two can be lessons you tell us about after 19:00 (Japan time) the day before.

  • Notice by 19:00 the day before: can be rescheduled
  • Notice after 19:00 the day before but before the lesson starts: can be rescheduled, up to twice a month
  • No notice by the time the lesson starts: counts as a no-show and cannot be rescheduled

The limits are the same on every plan. The new time is arranged from the free slots of your teacher or a substitute teacher.

A.
Until the end of the month after the lesson you missed. Unused make-up lessons lapse if you pause or cancel.

A.
An absence without notice cannot be rescheduled or refunded and counts as a lesson taken. If you arrive late, the lesson still ends at the scheduled time. If you have not joined 10 minutes after the start, the teacher may leave, and that lesson counts as taken.

A.
We give you a make-up lesson at no cost. It does not count towards your monthly limit for rescheduling on your own account. If no make-up lesson can be arranged, we deduct one lesson from the next month’s fee — or, if there is no next month’s fee, refund it by bank transfer.

A.
Yes. Lessons run as usual as long as it is a weekday in the Philippines.

A.
There are no lessons on Philippine public holidays (this applies to intensive courses too). Closure dates are announced in our annual calendar; unscheduled closures are announced on LINE or by email. A lesson lost to a closure is rescheduled. For intensive courses, if it cannot be rescheduled within the course period, we extend the period.

A.
On a monthly plan, each weekly slot covers four lessons a month. When your lesson day falls five times in a month, the fifth is a reserve day with no lesson as a rule. A lesson lost to a public holiday or other closure is made up on that reserve day. If a closure falls in a month with no reserve day, we reschedule it to another time.

A.
Pausing stops your monthly payments temporarily. Cancelling ends your contract.

A.

For up to one month we hold the same day, time and teacher for you. Beyond that we cannot guarantee the slot.

Please tell us by the 20th of the month before the month you want to leave. After that date, your cancellation takes effect at the end of the following month and that month’s fee is due. There are no penalties or cancellation fees.
